Description

The main task for Hygienic Non-Return Valves is to reliably prevent fluid backflow. This valve is designed for optimal flow with minimal dead space to give excellent properties in terms of cleaning and hygienic operational reliability.

The interior valve plate has neither a groove or gasket. The seal is created by an O-ring mounted in the housing which meets the highest hygiene standards. There is no mechanical stop inside the housing in order to ensure best possible positioning of the plate to the gasket. All O-rings comply with the requirements of the hygiene standard DIN 11864 for flange connections. The valve therefore offers the greatest possible protection against contamination and germs in the area of the gaskets. Two gasket materials are available – EPDM and FKM.
