Tunnel fire protection. The fire risks associated with tunnels - especially those used for transportation - can be substantial. The RRZ by PNR works by using water pressure to rotate and generate the water spray, which at high pressure can create an atomised water cloud. Bushfire protection. Tecpro Australia has extensive experience in the design and supply of bush fire protection systems for properties and businesses in bush fire prone areas and those in close proximity to bush land. We have a range of nozzles that have been tested in real conditions and have, in some instances, assisted in saving properties from destruction.
Water barrier protection. A waterwall is a spray of water that acts as a barrier to protect personnel and equipment against flames. The more water that is sprayed to form the suppression wall, the more efficient the fire protection and shielding
Foam fire suppression. Foam products are used to suppress flammable liquid fires by cooling the fire and coating the fuel, preventing its contact with oxygen.
High volume deluge. Deluge firefighting systems are designed to diffuse a large volume of water, or in some cases a combination of water and chemical fire retardant, over a designated area in a short amount of time.
Water mist fire suppression. Water mist has the ability to distribute water as a fine atomised mist. This mist is quickly converted to steam that smothers the fire and prevents oxygen from reaching it.
Tank cooling. Radiated heat is a big risk for storage tanks. Cooling water can minimize its effect. A mushroom nozzle can cool the roof and flood nozzles can cool the tank walls.
