Description

As with a double valve, a free-moving ball is used as the control as the fluid level rises, the ball is moved upward and applies pressure to the upper seat of the seal.

In this case, the system is closed automatically, as with the vent and exhaust valve, the air can escape in the same way.

To prevent a drop in the fluid column, the principle of gravity is used. The ball drops into the lower seal seat at negative pressure and prevents it from dropping further.

Exhaust valves are often installed in the pipe and suction lines of pumps. In this case, the valve prevents air from being sucked in when the pump is started up, AWH exhaust valves are therefore ideal for ensuring smooth operation.
