CJ firefighting nozzle series are utilised in water mist fire-fighting systems which, thanks to the integrated nozzles, at the operating pressure of 100 bar, are able to finely atomize water drops for the effective extinguishing of flames. Firstly, the cloud of droplets produced subtracts a considerable amount of thermal energy during evaporation, counteracting the rise in temperature; then, the water vapour created alters the oxygen/combustion percentages by lowering them, thus hindering the combustion process; finally, by absorbing a lot of the radiant energy from the flames, it limits the possibility that the ignition temperature of exposed materials can be reached.
