Durable is a word that’s often used when describing equipment. But for mining, military and some marine and agricultural applications, durable isn’t enough. They need Extra Heavy Duty and that’s what the new Mine Spec Range of Hose Reels delivers.

Available from Tecpro Australia, the Heavy Duty Hose Reels include a spring rewind mechanism to make it easy for operators to retract the hose after use. This feature ensures the hose can be stored simply and safely to prevent it from becoming a potential trip hazard.

The Reels are suitable for hoses from ¼″ – 1½″ diameter and can accommodate hose lengths from 15m – 100m (depending on hose diameter).

Designed and manufactured in Europe using 50% thicker Stainless Steel than standard hose reels, the Mine Spec Range of Hose Reels has been created to withstand the rigors of the toughest environments and roughest operators. They are available for low or high pressure applications – manufactured to withstand 400 Bar (5800 psi) operating pressure as standard with a 600 Bar (8700 psi) model available on request.

As well as the regular AISI 304 Stainless Steel models, the Hose Reels are available in 316 Stainless Steel, Powder Coated Steel and Cataphoric Treated Steel. In all, there are 12 different versions of the Heavy Duty Hose Reel available in each material in the range.

The Mine Spec Hose Reels are available from Tecpro Australia, a family owned business based in Castle Hill, NSW. Tecpro has supplied the Heavy Hose Reels for use in refuelling stations, for lubrication bays in maintenance workshops and heavy vehicle wash bays as well as other areas requiring wash-down in the mining, marine and agricultural industries.
